BROCKTON – Following an extensive search, Good Samaritan Medical Center has chosen Tenny John Thomas, MD, FACEP, MHL, as its Chief Medical Officer.
A resident of North Attleboro, MA, Dr. Thomas is highly experienced in Medical Management, with a focus on Emergency Medicine and Wound Care. He did his undergraduate work and received his Medical Degree from the College of Science at Sultan Qaboos University in Muscat, Oman. He completed internships at the Royal Hospital and Sultan Qaboos University Hospital in the Departments of Medicine, Surgery, and Pediatrics. He selected George Washington University Hospital, Washington, DC for his residency. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine and has his Master’s in Health Care Leadership from Brown University, Providence, RI.
Recently, Dr. Thomas has been serving as the Chief of the Emergency Department at Morton Hospital, Taunton, also a Steward Network Hospital. Prior to joining Morton, Thomas served in the ED at Steward’s St. Anne’s Hosptial, Fall River and was instrumental in opening the wound center at St. Anne’s.
