Norwood Hospital and Steward Medical Group announced the addition of Dr. Laurie Garabedian to the SMG Foxboro Family and Internal Medicine practice.
Garabedian is a family medicine and primary care provider. The addition of Garabedian expands the choice of providers for residents in the community who are seeking high-quality health care close to where they live and work.
Garabedian provides care for patients for all ages from newborns to adults and has a special interest in preventative medicine and lifestyle medicine, including nutrition, exercise and wellness. With her training, Garabedian also offers patients osteopathic manual manipulation, providing them with hands-on therapeutic treatment for conditions including low back pain, neck pain, sports injuries and some types of headaches.
Garabedian is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and earned her medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine. She completed her residency at the Family Medicine Residency Program at Brown University, in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
