Jordan Valley Medical Center – West Valley Center

Jason Brauner
Environmental Services Director, HHS

Jason served in the United States Marine Corps as Sergeant, 4th Tank Battalion.  During his eight years as a Marine, he was stationed at Marine Corp Air Base, Twenty Nine Palms and Camp Pendleton in California, Camp Lejeune in North Carolina and Fort Operating Base in Ramadi, Iraq, where he spent seven months in combat, participating in raids and interrogating prisoners.  In 2002, he trained with the Army Rangers in Washington State.

“For me as a Marine, it was to make sure my Marines were always well trained, fit, and their well-being was good. I accomplished that while I was in the military, and that is what I pride myself most in civilian life. I use those same tools to lead my team here at JWVC.”

Jason joined HHS in 2014 at Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage, CA. He also worked at Sunrise Medical Hospital in Las Vegas and Alaska Regional Hospital in Alaska for short periods.  He came to Utah in 2017 for his current job.

Jason is married and has three children – two girls and a boy, ages 17, 7 and 5. His oldest daughter is beginning the application process to the Naval Academy for Fall 2019 admission.
