I was in the USAF, stationed at Hanscom AFB at the 66th Medical Group from August 2008 to June 2012. I deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from December 2009 to June 2010. I was at Balad Air Base with the 5th Special Forces Group. I cared for soldiers, seamen and airmen from all branches of the military and went on missions throughout Iraq, where I had the honor of caring for Iraqi citizens. During my time at Hanscom, I was a Family Medicine physician for active duty, retirees and families. I lived on base and enjoyed being part of the community. Many of my patients there followed me to Groton, and I love caring for veterans and their families!
