Retired U.S. Navy Veteran who was a Hospital Corpsman for 20 years, retired in 2001 after a successful career.  Petty Officer Yeager served onboard the USS Blandy, USS Guam and the USS Eisenhower, a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier having combined over seven and a half years underway at sea.  During Petty Officer Yeager’s tenure, he served in operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm where he witnessed combat and had the responsibility to mend those who suffered as a result of combat.  Toward the end of Petty Officer Yeager’s career, he learned how to fly and earned his Airline Transport Pilot certification and flew for the airlines, after some years of providing flight instruction.  Petty Officer Yeager earned his bachelor’s degree from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Professional Aeronautics and then later pursued his Master’s in Science in Mental Health Counseling where he is currently serving as a Mental Health Counselor at St. Luke’s Hospital.  Mr. Yeager is the father of 4 adult children, who he raised as a single father while active duty.  Mr. Yeager is currently married for 14 years
